Now I need to clean up.
I spent a long time considering putting the fire extinguisher on the wall, but it just wouldn't look ok anywhere in there...oh well...I'll just say it's there for easy access!
And my new sign over the kitchen threshold!
A collection of recipes and stories, wine tastings and the occasional restaurant review.

Goodness, I should leave town more often!
When my mother in law cleaned our kitchen, she threw cleanser soaked towels on the stove to soften the hard, gunky bits. It made the house smell like a clorox factory but the stove is immaculate. I am in deep envy of your counter space.
Very impressive!
DC Food Blog: First I just scrubbed and cleaned with a pine cleaner. Then I sprayed the stove down with windex with vinegar, on top of that I dumped baking soda. That really really works well. Then the burnt on bits I had to scrap with a knife. Then there was another turn with the windex/vinegar/baking soda. It was nuts.
The counter space...that's pretty much it...There are two other sections, but they hold things. I am happy I don't have to have a cart to hold my babies...Ms. Kitchen-Aid and Mr. Cuisinart.
I can't complain that my kitchen is too small to REALLY cook in anymore...
