We visited the Temple twice!

While in San Diego, we were introduced to the Temple known as...

IN-N-OUT Burgers!
...and now we pray!

Simply perfect. Juicy and flavorful patties. Melted cheese and savory fried onions. Perfectly toasted bun and great hand-cut fries.

There is a very good chance this is the best fast food burger I've had in my life. Perhaps better than the Five Guys!

Don't go to In-N-Out looking for a chicken sandwich or a salad. They are burgers. That's it. You can have fries, soda and a shake. Save the chicken sandwich for Chick-fil-a.

Bite your tongue - better than Five Guys indeed. But then again, I've never had an In-and-Out burger. But Five Guys are awesome.

I protested that they were not as good as Five Guys. But they are still QUITE delicious. I really, really wanted to have a second one, but my stomach wouldn't let me.

I like the burgers better than Five Guys, but the fries at Five Guys are definitely better. Do you know about the secret menu at In-N-Out?

I know there is a secret menu, but I don't really know enough about it. All I know is I was able to get fried onions and you can do a triple triple, quad quad, etc.

And something wrapped in lettuce...why bother with a burger joint if you don't want the bun.

Burgers and no buns for those on Atkins.
5 guys is good, but I definitely believe there are better burgers out there.

I know it's for low-carb/atkins types, I just don't believe in it.

AAAAH! We were just there last night when J picked me up from the airport. It's like the hambruger mothership for every Southern Californian

I've never had an In-and-Out burger. I have to try one next time I'm out west... but I finally tried Five Guys and it is pretty damn good.

burger

Cool, We're going to be in San Diego in January and I really wanted to try the In and Out Burger. And after reading this, I REALLY want to try it.

Did you see the 'secret' menu? Do a search online, it's easy to find.

I think 5 Guys has a slightly more beefy flavor, but loses the grease comparison. The rest of the best is all at the In-N-Out. If y'all ever come out here, we found a burger we adore that we will share. Same for readers and friends :)
