We got a very short notice that we HAD TO EMPTY the kitchen by Monday, so exterminators could come through and spray in all the kitchens.
OK, fine...yes, there is a little need for the spraying. Yes, my kitchen needed a good scrub down. And it's nice to purge some stuff, but seriously. We basically had a day to do this and I had plans that I had to change. The thing I'm most worried about...what if they don't get to it today like they are supposed to....I wouldn't be suprised, but I'd be really pissed.
I WANT MY KITCHEN BACK. I barely managed to make cashew chicken...tasty...but when everything has been moved and spread around the dinning room...it's not too easy. Hopefully I'll be back in the kitchen on Wednesday.

Aha, I see you're dealing with sons of bastiches too! I had to do the kitchen-emptying thing once, but I had more notice than just one day. I hope they stick to their schedule and you can get your life back asap!
They do that at our condo too. Thanks for the warning! And we have the added fun of having to lock the dog up in a back bedroom so she won't get loose. She's so pissed off by the time we get home, it isn't funny.
The kitchen has been restored!!!!!! Wahoo...now I just have to scrub the floors, but not for another day or two!
and I've re-organized and found places for more stuff!!!! Yippeee.

(I'm happy to get my kitchen back after about 7 weeks without it due to our remodel! Now I have to get back in the groove of actually cooking!)
