And what, praytell, does a Foley Food Mill do? Congrats!
The particular food mill in the photo is the exact same one my mom and grandma had to make jelly! The berries/fruit would be simmered with some sugar and pectin, then poured into the food mill and the wooden piece would be turned around and around, pushing the fruit pulp and juice out through the holes....I think this would be simmered a bit more, then jarred, sealed and yum yum!
