The Next Food Network Star

You should head over to the Food Network website and vote for:

The Next Food Network Star.

Your choices are:

REGGIE

or

Guy

I was really cheering for Carissa, but she didn't make it to the final three, so I'm voting for Reggie, big silly, funny, comforting Reggie. If you haven't watched The Next Food Network Star and don't mind, head over and vote for Reggie. If you have been watching....vote for whom you like.

Carissa sucks.

I vote for Guy.

Reggie is fabulous, but I dunno if I would want to watch him ALL the time. Kind of like Rachel Ray, you love her, but sometimes it can be TOO much.

Just my opinion. :)

That's how I feel about Guy...that his macho/testosterone would get in the way....it's how I feel about Bobby Flay and Emeril, I can watch sometimes, but the more I watch, the less I can stand them.

I'm so torn! I watched the whole competition, and I was also rooting for Carissa but I did agree that she was the one who should go in the final elimination. Here's my take on it, I think. I *love* Reggie and think he would be a great teddy bear of a friend. But, when it comes to a show I'd actually like to watch... I think I'd rather watch Guy. This is a hard one!

AM - Sorry your guy Nate didn't make it! :-)

i've been torn too. I've rewatched a bit and came to a conclusion. I think Guy could teach me a bit more and I think he might make more dishes that I haven't considered/made already. Reggie's easy queenie sasstress self is great, but I wonder if it might play too sweet at a certain point? But I kind of want him to win. I do feel the same way about Guy, Emeril, and Bobby though. -j

Good points all. This is why I wanted Carissa to make it to the finals. We have the overly male stars already, so we don't need another one. And yes, we have the silly, fun, loveable hosts (Rachel, Paula)...so if we had Carissa as an option, it would be an option we don't necessisarly (sp) have already. And as far as I can tell, if she were to do her Simply French show, we don't have that option on the Food Network. At least not in the six hours of Food Network I watch in a day.
