Another Breakfast Dinner

Alright. The family has departed and I had the day to rest. I shopped and I dropped. It was great. I also forgot what day it was and what the rest of my week was like. So I shopped for the two meals and knew that a social event tonight would require a quick dinner, so the longer dinners would be for "tomorrow and Wednesday." HA! That implies Tuesday and Wednesday. So stay tuned a new recipe on Sunday night instead of "tomorrow". Wednesday will actually be a repeat of a favorite that I've already done on here a few times...but I'll tell you more about that tomorrow.

So, making due with what I had available...tonight's dinner was a favorite usually reserved for lazy Sunday mornings....Sausage Gravy and Biscuits.

It's a real easy recipe and pretty fast.

Very interesting...if you look closely, you can actually see wisps of steam...fun!

Sausage gravy and biscuits should be the official breakfast meal of America.

OMG. Biscuits with sausage gravy is one of my biggest guilty pleasures. I guess my dirty secret is out now...

Have you ever been to a Biscuitville restaurant? They're located throughout North and South Carolina. "Fresh Biscuits. Friendly Folks." Indeed.

I've never had sausage gravy. But I do love me a good biscuit!

Sausage Gravy is the devil and the biscuits are the devil and together they are perfectly sinful! So totally not good for you in anyway shape or form.

Yum, breakfast for dinner. Love sausage gravy and biscuits, have never attempted to make it - maybe because I'll find out that it's fairly easy then I'll gain 1 million pounds.

Looks great. We just had biscuits and creamed chicken the other night. Essentially the same, swapping the meat. Totally perfect for a winter dinner.
