Today is the first birthday
of
EAT WITH ME


YIPPEE!!!!



I started this thing one year ago today.

One year has brought over 260 postings, nearly 900 comments and most importantly over 140 recipes!!!! (& probably 20 pounds!)

Witht that, I thank you, gentle readers, for your support and encouragement over the past 365 days! Here's to another!

PS: I know the photos have been a welcome addition to this website, but what would you like to see more of? Also, what has been your favorite thing about the blog? Favorite recipe?

    Happy happy birthday!

    I would say my favorite part is when you give a recipe, but then you take the time to tell us what you did differently - or what you would do differently next time. So it's not just a recipe resource, but you have also physically tried the recipes and can comment on them. And since I trust your cooking 100%, I know I can trust your suggestions. :)

    I also like the photos - particularly of the finished product - gives me an idea of what it should look like.

    I also like that you've included some recipes that we submitted - like the WW friendly ones and the cookie contest.

    I don't know if I would list it as "favorite" (I'd have to think about that) but I would say the recipe we make most often is the Drunken Thai Noodles. It's just so damn tasty and easy to make! I also particularly like the Cranberry Kickin Apple Pickin Chicken (is that the name?) because it's also easy and I love the name.

    I agree with DiD - my favorites have been the meals I've gotten to eat! :-)

    But I also love the idea of the cookie contest, and I hope you keep doing reader-participation things like that.

    I would like it if your photos didn't lie - and if you made more meals for bunnies - KIDDING (tho I DO love that pic!). CONGRATS, MON AMI! I vote to bring back the communal meal night... basically b/c that was the only way I cook if I'm under group pressure. My favorite recipe has been the banana pudding :)

    Actually I think the bunny is very unhappy with his dessert choice. He seems to be looking down on his little cake!

    I have had several requests in the recent past for the Without Borders events...I'll try to re-establish that!

    I just meant that the photo of the bunny with the cake was a fib... unless bunnies like cake (hey, I like cake so I could hardly blame him!).
