Funnily enough, we were served little baggies of the "candied fennel" for dessert on our flights to and from India!<BR/><BR/>That stuff always brings me back to my childhood... My best friend, whose family was Pakistani (it's not just an Indian treat!), and I spent a lot of summer afternoons chowing down on the fennel candy.
