Then the following year it was complete swill. This year, I'm not ready to pass judgement yet. Not loving it, but don't feel I should pour it out either.ScottE.https://www.blogger.com/profile/02346813251871182513noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12761051.post-1132534128174024272005-11-20T19:48:00.000-05:002005-11-20T19:48:00.000-05:00Interesting. So maybe this would be a good transition wine for me, too.Stefhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10024186205791001584noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12761051.post-1132528054754105842005-11-20T18:07:00.000-05:002005-11-20T18:07:00.000-05:00Beau is a very young wine...aged just a few short ...Beau is a very young wine...aged just a few short months. It usually light and fruity. Fun to drink. But, as is the nature of the beast, each year is different. We've had good Beaus. We've had crappy ones and we've had great ones...

This year's, from what I've had so far, is not that great, but I don't think it's horrible. I'm going to try to find another bottle to sample for comparison.

The first time I had a beau, it was when I was more of a white wine drinker, so it was actually a good transition wine for me.ScottE.https://www.blogger.com/profile/02346813251871182513noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12761051.post-1132526695684894042005-11-20T17:44:00.000-05:002005-11-20T17:44:00.000-05:00I've never had a Beau.... what am I missing? If someone finds a label they love, do let me know.Dancer in DChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07087622962074214295noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12761051.post-1132348243874153332005-11-18T16:10:00.000-05:002005-11-18T16:10:00.000-05:00I can't wait to hear what you think of the one you...I can't wait to hear what you think of the one you picked up... because my experience has been that it is extremely easy to get a BAD Beaujolais Nouveau (like the French version of Mad Dog).Lady Brandenburghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08905918888806246713noreply@blogger.com
